ATM machines are everywhere these days, so most people can get cash 24/7.

 

I cannot and will not accept personal checks, certified checks, traveler's checks, wooden nickels, livestock, or money orders for final payment on the day of your ceremony.

Cash (US Dollars) or *trade only. To be settled in full before the ceremony begins.

 

Should you choose to disregard the above and attempt

to present me with any form of final payment other than cash

(in the form of US Dollars) or *trade, the following will apply:

 

Forms of payment other than *trade or cash (in the form of US Dollars) cannot be verified or presented for payment for an undetermined period after your ceremony, due to Banks generally being closed at the time most ceremonies take place, holidays, and other factors.

 

Note:This causes an unnecessary hardship for our Ministry.

All the mileage fee actually goes to gas and vehicle maintenance.

We, as a Ministry, are too small to become a Church,

so we pay taxes like you do.

 

I do this because it is my calling and because

I am thankful of the fact I have been blessed with such a

joyus aspect of Spiritual service. I love my job.

 

Therefore, if you or any other person acting on your behalf performs any action which tries to circumvent the above or present me with any other form of final payment on the day of your ceremony, (*except trade, SEE BELOW) you will also incur a surcharge of $250 US, cash only, in addition to your payment for the full balance, both of which are due, without exception, before your ceremony begins.

 

Failure to comply without my express written consent will be cause for immediate cancellation of your ceremony, forfeiture of your retainer, a $500 US bad faith cancellation fee, and the immediate departure of your Officiant.

 

In the event that I must take legal action to collect from you, including if your check is returned for NSF, or if the goat dies the next day, etc., the additional costs to cover legal fees, court costs, and my time and trouble, shall be $1,500 US, or $1,000 US, plus bank fees, court costs, and legal fees, whichever is greater.

*Trade

Travel trailers, motor homes, and old Harley's (no Sportsters or AMF),

in good running condition, or professional services related to website design,

landscaping, vehicle repair or home improvements, may be acceptable in trade, along with a written agreement to that effect signed beforehand by all involved persons, and placed into effect before the date of the ceremony. Items or services accepted for trade (other than website design) must be performed at or delivered to my home near Youngstown, Ohio, before the date of your ceremony.
